I lost my job Tuesday.

My manager bent over backwards to let me know it wasn't performance related, just the economy.

Just checking in our your blog and sorry to hear this! I had the same thing happen to me, been unemployed since Mid-March. It is royal suckage. Things are pretty slow job hunting wise--trying to just enjoy the weather and the kids--but, yeah, still sucks.
